Inside the Studio

An ongoing conversation between material and proportion.

The first line

Every object begins with a use case and a line drawn at full scale. Working large makes proportion tangible early, before technical detail can disguise a shape that is not yet resolved.

Prototype, wear, repeat

Samples move between the worktable and daily life. We record pressure points, reach, weight and the way a material settles. Each revision removes what is unnecessary and strengthens what a person touches most.

A shared standard

Designers, pattern cutters and makers review the same sample together. That direct exchange keeps the original intention connected to construction and gives practical knowledge an equal voice in the final object.
